June 17, 2019(4 events) 9:30 am: Community Based Instruction (Sunbury, PA) – With the changes in both federal and state regulations, the need for strategies to support individuals in the communities which they live is essential. CBI is providing instruction to another person in a planned, systematic manner to increase the potential for learning to take place. 2:00 pm: Relaxation Day (Sunbury, PA) – Life is hectic! Things are BUSY! ...and it's important to remember to take a little bit of time to keep ourselves centered and take care of ourselves. Members of Networks' Wholistic Practices Team will be at Northumberland Co. Behavioral Health Intellectual Disability Services to offer time to take a breath & experience various bodywork modalities (which may include reiki, reflexology, massage, meditation, and more). 3:00 pm: Living with Trauma Summit - Session #3 (Online) – So many of us have experienced trauma of one sort or another, including emotional, childhood, physical, medical, and other traumas of the body, mind, and soul. Yet how many of us fully face and understand their effects on us, our lives, and those we love and who love us? 5:00 pm: Community Bodywork Clinic (Sunbury, PA) – During these Clinics, various body and energy work treatments will be available such as Reiki, reflexology, massage, breathing exercises, meditation assistance, and more. |
