About Us
Our Roots
Michael McAllister, PhD and Rosa McAllister, MEd, RM, LMT founded Networks on November 12, 1992.
Networks was born of an idea that all people with disabilities can (and must) be of the community and are people who live, love, communicate, work, dream, create and ARE just like every single other person. How to support self determination and the spirit of belonging, dreaming, doing, and being? Birth an organization who knows that it doesn't hold all the answers but consciously taps into others with more expertise,
Mike left us too soon on October 7, 2009. Networks continues on. The vision he and Rosa held lives on and embodies all that Networks is and will be. Click here to learn more of our Networks’ story.
Networks for Training and Development is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to promoting inclusive communities through quality training, consultation, and practice for individuals with disabilities, families, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities.
