The CoLab Project
We have developed a collaborative approach to assist organizations to build capacity and connect their team to resources that will support the continued growth and viability of their work.
We call this approach “The CoLab.”
Leading an organization and striving for excellence is no simple task. The Networks team is available to provide support. We do this by listening to your successes, challenges, plans and visions for the future, then together, develop a customized Action Plan to address your specific concerns. The saying, “You only get out of it what you put into it,” fits The CoLab Project very well. It is a time-limited Project where you put concerted effort and energy into your Action Plan, but the benefits you reap are exponential.
The CoLab Project began with its first Cohort in early 2022. Since then, numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations have seen tremendous growth through this process.

- staffing
- policies and procedures
- employee handbook
- administrative
- infrastructure
- website development
- social media and marketing development
- connection to resources and other partnering organizations

We will offer our hand as a mentor but will in no way own or direct what you do... and we will back out as gracefully and quickly as possible to allow you to find your own way.
Requirements to join this endeavor include:
- a willingness to fully engage in the process during the Project,
- attend meetings (typically once per month for Action Plan meetings with additional meetings taking place for specific support requests),
- and follow through with all identified goals.
Each Cohort will include a few organizations, all experiencing the Project together. Expectations include full participation and attendance by leadership team representatives, involvement in a Cohort Gathering and Cohort Presentation to share your successes.
